Chardin's Lost Bread

This recipe was submitted by Glenn J Bergeron II. It is very similar to the all-time favorite French Toast and serves one hungry person!


    * 4 slices of bread
    * 2 eggs beaten
    * 2 tablespoons of milk

Cooking Instructions

    * Pass bread through mixture of above ingredients and soak well.
    * Put bread on grill until brown on both sides.
    * Remove, sprinkle with confection sugar, and serve.

** Eat, wash down with black coffee, and sit back to meditate upon the goodness of God.

Of course, the last step marked by the two astericks are Glenn's own addition.

Marie Joseph Pierre Teilhard de Chardin was born in 1881 and is related to the famous philosopher Voltaire. Chardin is famous in his own right as a philosopher and theologian publishing many works which were revolutionary at his time. Chardin entered the Jesuit novitiate in 1899 with degrees in Philosophy and Mathematics. Chardin died in 1955 in New York on Easter Sunday. Due to the controversial nature of his works they were not published until after his death.
